It then provides a PSTN telephone line interface that means you can plug in a standard analogue telephone, a fax machine, a computer modem or even connect it directly to a business phone system.

The Ericsson F251m is commonly refered to as a Wireless Landline or Fixed Cellular Terminal - it provides the equivalent of a landline connection in remote locations where is it difficult or expensive to get a normal telephone line installed.
